ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has said terrorism will never return to Pakistan again due to the steps taken by the government.
He said this during a mee
ting with Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister Ulugbek Rozikuloy.
“Pakistan a
nd Uzbekistan both are facing the challenges of terrorism and extremism and both countries will work jointly to overcome these problems.”
The President said, “We will take the relations between Pakistan a
nd Uzbekistan to new levels”.
A range of issues relat
ed to securi
ty and bilateral ties between the two countries were discussed in the meeting.
Meanwhile the Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister said that our friendship with Pakistan is our precious asset, we want to sustain friendship and give it a new
direction.
