argest water reservoir, Mangla Dam, is swiftly rising to a dangerous leve
l, official sources said. The water level in the reservoir was recorded as 1,210.60 feet as against maximum conservation level of 1,242 feet with live storage of 5.025 million acre feet (MAF), the sources told APP on Friday. The minimum operating water level in the dam is 1,050 feet.
The inflow of water of Jhelum River at Mangla was reported at 49,200 cusecs with the outflows of 10,000 cusecs from the Mangla reservoir on Friday, the sources said.
