ISLAMABAD: Security forces have recovered a huge cache of arm
s and ammunition from Kalaya, Orakzai Agency and Parachinar, K
urram Agency.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the recovered arm
s and ammunition include rockets, prepared IEDs, explosive material, grenades, bombs, di
fferent types of weapon
s and communication equipment.
The operation
s were launched on the basis of a credible source. A TTP Markaz, established in underground tunnels in Kalaya, Orakzai Agency, was destroyed during the offense.
The recovery of such a huge cache indicates that the militant
s were planning a major terrorist attack, which has now b
een averted.
