SRINAGAR: In Indian occupied Kashmir(IOK), the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has termed the election dra
ma to deply troops in schools as mere dra
ma to station thousands of indian forces personnel across the territory.
The APHC spokesman while criticising India and its puppet regime for deployment of forces in educational institutions said, “Deploying forces in educational institutions is disregard for education system. Precious time of students is being wasted by authorities.”
The APHC said that extra contingents of Indian forces had been deployed in educational institutions of South and Central Kashmir. “Despi
te genuine objection raised by staff and students, the armed personnel are stationed in these institutions,” it said. “Whenever we call for a shutdown against the atrocities of Indian forces, the same authorities raise hue and cry about career of students.
However,
they turn their blind eye to deployment of forces in educational educations,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, the APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement expressed shock over the loss of property in fire in Awoora area of Kupwara and demanded a probe into the incident which destroyed houses and shops.
Terming the incident mysterious, Syed Ali Gilani said that many agencies were active in the entire territory and their intention to destroy the economy in the area is quite evident to all. “So locals want to know the cause of the fire,” he said and expressed his s
ympathy with the affected families. “There are so many queries that need explanation from quarters concerned as why the forces cordoned off the said area without any reason and why firefighting tenders we
re stopped,” he said.
What people say is not unsupported and pointless, and their resentment is vindicated till
they get satisfactory explanation from the relevant quarters, the
APHC Chairman said. “There are numerous evidences that various secretive means are being employed to create harassment among people,” he said, adding, “These ill and evil designs are being used to cripple our economy, which remained a prime target for the mysterious elements and it looks as if
they are more active now.” The APHC leader concluded.
