VEHARI: At least 50 people were arre
sted all across Punjab in search operations conducted by security agencies early Su
nday.
The operations were conducted in Vehari, Mailsi and Burewala and Pindi Bhattian and
took custody of 45 people who could not prove their identities and 12 Afghan nationals were also arre
sted and weapons were also re
covered from them.
More than a 1000 policemen participated in
the operations that
took place at numerous bus stations, hotels and guesthouses and people were asked to prove their identities.
